Is it possible to use a Wireless Range Expander device to strengthen the signal of a free wireless network?

I use a laptop to connect to the internet, and am able to pick up signals from relatively weak (free) wireless networks. If I were to use a wireless range expander, would this strengthen the the signal of these networks?

No. A Wireless Expander/Extender works as a relaying device. So, it needs to be placed in a place where the original signal is strong enough.

Uncanny has my vote! I still love the original version, but i think Ultimate is not bad too. Some of the newer comics are making things too complicated and it makes it difficult to follow.

Whereas for Uncanny, i find that the story is more or less consistent and you'll have an easier time trying to follow as compared to the rest (at least to me).

So if you are just starting to read or learn about X-men, you should always start from the bottom (Uncanny) and up (Ultimate, Astonishing, etc). But of course, the earlier issues of Uncanny graphics are not as great as the newer ones today.

The bottomline is that it has good storyline (cheesy at times) and portrays the characters well is good enough for me. I even still keep some of the old issues!

If you have never tried playing paintball, you may not know that paintball is a fun and exciting sport that people from all walks of life enjoy. There are groups who play paintball all over the country. So, how do you get started playing playing paintball?

Before we begin, there are a few things you should keep in mind. Paintballs DO hurt. When you get hit, it stings. This is why you should make sure that you have all the protective gear you need. Another thing to keep in mind is that, at first, you won't be any good at it. But, if you decide to stick with it, you will become a pro in no time.

First, you have to find some folks to play with. One way to find a local paintball group is to simply look on the Web. Type "paintball" and the name of your hometown into a search engine and you will find websites for local groups. Another good option is to go to your local sporting goods shop and ask around. You may find information posted on when and where groups meet. You can also ask the clerk about paintball information.

Getting into paintball costs money, but it's addictive. You won't regret spending a little cash for something so fun.

Because you will be SHOOTING at people, and they will be shooting back, having the right protective gear is very important. Make sure have a mask and goggles. Paintball is quite safe, but you should never go out without your mask.

Next, you need the gun. Guns come in all sizes and prices, so you should shop around for a good one. If you are an absolute beginner, it might be a good idea to buy one on the cheap side. You can get one for under $200. When you are ready to make more of a commitment, you can upgrade. If you are serious about paintball, you should have a good weapon.

Clothing is another consideration. Wear something that covers you completely. Paintballs can hurt when they hit you, so you don't want to have any exposed skin. Baggy clothes are best for this. You also might want to wear camouflage and, if you can, wear lots of layers.

Don't wear anything too expensive. You will be in the dirt and mud, and you will also likely be splattered with paint. If you are concerned about bruising, it might be a good idea to wear extra padding underneath in certain areas.

Now we've got everything we need to get started. Watch out for flying paintballs.

Paintball is most fun when you're playing with some good friends. In many areas there are paintball fields where beginners can go, rent equipment and get a taste of paintball. Your best bet would be to go to a few places and ask them what they charge.
Many places charge by the hour, and about $100/hr.

Going to a few different places and asking would be the best way to find out.

On 20.01.2004 we left cold Germany with a small group of 8 people who wanted to escape the winter and enjoy a few nice days at Embudu Village (Maldives).

After about 11 hour's flight, we landed at Male. After customs, we were already expected from our tour leader. (As a small note: It is forbidden do bring alcohol to the Maldives. The hand luggage and the suitcases are scanned for).

Directly at the airport our boat was already waiting for us, which should bring us to Embudu Village. The transfer usually took about 45 min. But in recent weeks, there were strong currents so we had to make a detour. The holiday begins already on the boat. You took your shoes off and you don't have to care about your luggage.

At the airport we had our check-in maps of the island and get out, so the check in at reception is very quick - we got the bungalow we reserved. In the evening of our arrival day our tour leader gave us a short briefing about the Maldives and our island. Even the local dive center was there.

Embudu Village is a small and quiet island. The comfort of the island is normal.
The bungalows are built along the water and in the middle of the island are the restaurant, bar and reception. The island has a few water bungalows. We had the opportunity to test one of these water bungalows for 2 days. We couldn't sleep at all. The splashing of the water kept us awake. In future, we would not book one of these bungalows.

The normal bungalows are simple and functionally furnished. They are cleaned twice daily. The bathroom is integrated into the bungalow.

As the island consists totally of sand, we didn't need our shoes at all for 2 weeks.

The hotel offers full board and all inclusive, which can be booked directly at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner are always served in buffet form and is really very good. The selection of food is not excessive.

Swimming and snorkeling is possible everywhere in the small lagoons around the island. You can even circle around the island while snorkeling.

The house reef is about 3 / 4 destroyed. There is a corner where the old and intact reef is still present, but at this corner there are usually strong currents. The snorkeling is worth again, because the fish has not changed. We had several baby sharks, manta rays, turtles, rays, etc.

The diving base is located near the water bungalows. We have decided to take the boat twice a day. The base line, the instructor and the crew of the boats were very competent and friendly.

Résumé As for me, I can only recommend the island. We were certainly not the there for the last time.

Boring old water. That was until someone saw the business opportunity in bottling spring water and making it fashionable to drink.

How will this tip help me lose weight I hear you ask?

It's great and really is one of the simplest tips for losing weight. Fat cells in your body are harder to break down when you are dehydrated. Have a glass of water with your meal. It does not have to be natural mineral water. I find water straight from the kitchen tap just perfect.

During the meal take sips of your water. This will help to slow down your eating speed allowing your body to fully digest the food it intakes. Sipping the water will help you to feel more full when you finish your meal and help resist that urge for an extra portion. Water naturally reduces your appetite.

I also carry a bottle of water in my bag when I'm out and have a bottle of water on my desk at work. Sometimes you can feel hungry when really you are thirsty and your body needs hydration. So we eat when we really need a drink. Not only is this one of my favourite tips for losing weight but it also has great health benefits. Your body is two-thirds water so drinking more of it helps to keep your body hydrated.

Keeping a glass jug of water in the fridge may help as colder water is nicer to drink. You can add a slice of natural lemon or lime to the water if you want to give it some extra flavour. It's important not to dive for that soda, fizzy drink or mocha every time you feel thirsty and follow these lose weight tips. I try and treat those drinks more as a daily reward to help my sense of achievement.

It is important that you drink plenty of water. Many people believe that drinking lots of water is the opposite of what you should be doing to lose water weight, when really, drinking less water can be very counter productive! If you are not drinking enough water during the day, your body will go into 'Survival Mode', retaining every drop you drink. Water is the best diuretic you can give to your body, and of course water is completely natural, so you should be drinking between 8-10 glasses a day, or enough so that you rarely feel thirsty.

There is nothing more refreshing then an ice-cold glass of water! Drinking ice-cold water is beneficial if you are on a diet as your body will lose calories just by going through the process of raising your body temperature to back to its normal position.

If you follow these tips for losing weight, you are sure to notice that you will achieve some weight loss, without having to go on the latest fad diet and you will soon be back on track to being healthy and happy!
