What is Color Correction?
what does "color correction" in a hair salon do?
Can they take the black out of my hair and make it a golden blonde?
I think my hair is healthy.I've dyed it a billion times at a salon and by myself, but I've used many deep contintionding treatments,repair serums, hair mayonniase,and olive oil.
My hair is shiny & soft..so I guess it's in good shape
Color correction is just a term for the use of certain products that take artificially-deposited color out of hair.
For your question, yes, a (good) salon should be able to remove black color, since it was artificially-deposited with hair dye.
To make it golden blonde, however, it may take a few different times of color correction and a dye over it to make it the color you want.
You can always buy color correction products at a store and do them yourself, but goint with a salon is the better option nine times out of ten.
