challenging water sports - swimming, etc.?
Hi,
I have a knee injury and hence can't participate in competitive swimming. But I can do 1000 m in pool without much effort. Doing laps is getting boring. Anyone has any suggestions about fun activities in water/pool? Please do not suggest scuba, etc. I am a city dweller and can only visit the pool everyday.
Have you considered waterpolo?
Its a team water sport which requires an ability to swim. There are six field players and one goalkeeper. The winner of the game is the team that scores the most goals.
Field players must swim end to end of a 30-meter pool non-stop many times during a game. The front crawl stroke used differs from the usual swimming style in that water polo players swim with the head out of water at all times to observe the field. Backstroke is used by defending field players to track advancing attackers and by the goalie to track the ball after passing.

Moraria, a place known for its tranquility is situated on the shores of the famous beach Costa Blanca off the Mediterranean Sea.
