You can also invest in a snorkel although any good brand should do. The trio of mask, fins and snorkel will allow you to get into snorkeling, and many people find that they enjoy snorkeling so much that they forego scuba altogether. If you do go on to scuba diving however, a snorkel, as well as the mask and fins will also be required.
