How much would a scuba tank cost that allows me to breath underwater if I bought it in hawaii?

An 80 cubic foot aluminum with K valve, usually runs between 200-300 bucks. It won't do you much good though, unless you get certified. No one will fill it unless you present your C card and trying to fill it yourself will only get you hurt or worse. That's a potential 3,000 psi bomb if you don't know what you're doing and what you put in it, without it being properly filtered and dehumidified could cause a bit of health problem. Namely lack of it...death.
One other thing. If you're travelling to Hawaii, and planning on taking it home with you, you better be on a boat. Airlines don't allow scuba tanks on board their aircraft for the same reason I pointed out above. The potential for you and 300 of your fellow passengers to learn how to skydive without parachutes.

With the standard scuba equipment that we wear for leisure diving will allow us to reach depths of 60m. This is not because the equipment will fail but is due to the exerted pressure of oxygen in your air supply will be become toxic. So going beyond this depth for too long will become fatal.

Even at shallower depths of between 30 and 60m, which in its self may not be dangerous when we talk about oxygen being toxic, it can cause such things as nitrogen narcosis which is like being drunk and is known as the martini effect. This will have severe affects on your decision making which could lead to dangerous mistakes. It will affect individuals differently even if they dive to the same depth. Again much like drinking where some people can drink a lot and others only one glass.

Besides the issue with oxygen toxicity, we need to remember that at depth oxygen is compressed therefore the deeper we go the more dense the air is the less breaths it will take to empty the scuba tank.

For example, at 60m when we take a single breath we consume seven times the volume of oxygen as we would for the same breath at the surface. So simply put our oxygen will run out seven times faster.

So diving deep is not always the best, if we want stay under water longer and enjoy the beautiful coral and fishes then diving at a shallower depth will give you that additional time.
