What if I'm missing signatures for cert. in my dive log?
I went for my Open Water certification recently and started a log book. There are a few pages to fill out for the confined water dives and some for the open water dives (that the instructor was to sign for), and there is also a page where the instructor needed to initial all of the skills I did in confined and open water...I'm missing a few initials for Day 2 skills, and the final signature for completion.
Sooo...is it a problem that I'm missing some initials and signatures in my log book? I should be receiving my c-card soon. I figure anyone could lose a log book at any time, so in the worst case, the c-card should be enough for future dives?
I wouldn't worry about it. You'll only ever be asked to show your c-card. I've never been asked for my qualification record books. I'm only ever asked for my card(s) and occasionally a quick flick through my log-book just to check I'm 'dived-up'.
If you run into your instructor again it won't do any harm to get him to quickly fill in the blanks, but other than that as I said I wouldn't worry about it too much

I lost my Padi Log Book, can dive centers access my number of dives? I'm working to divemaster...?
No. That's a reason why you keep that log book. They don't put surveillance on you to see when you dive or how often, so they'll have no idea. All they'll know is your certs, when you got them and who certified you.
If you're doing your DM with the same shop you did your advanced, they'll have a handle on the number of dives you've done and the types of dives. They're probably the ones that filled your tanks. Quite a few shops won't ask that you produce that book if they know you. If it's a new place you're doing it with, they may ask for a skills assessment.

How do I fill out the log book when I drive from like 7p.m. into the next day?
I went off duty at 8:30 this morning, I took 10 hours off. I want to start driving again at 7p.m. How do I complete my log book when my trip begins on one day then goes into the next? By the way, I am in the USA going interstate.
Your log book begins and ends at midnight (12 AM to 12 PM). If you start driving at 5:00 PM, draw your line from that point continuously to the midnight point. Then, on the next subsequent page, beging that day's line at the 12 AM point and continue it to the time when you stop driving for another reason.
